RBCF Receives 21 Century Education Foundation Business Partnership Award

At today’s Annual Breakfast with the Superintendent, the RBCF received the distinguished Business Partnership Award from the 21st Century Education Foundation. The mission of the 21st Century Education Foundation is to develop and support collaborative efforts to match the needs of the public schools of Anne Arundel County, Maryland with the resources of the surrounding businesses, industry, and community. The award was given based on the implementation of the RBCF’s latest grooming project located at the Phoenix Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. This project consists of a full-service barber/beauty shop operating onsite at the school. The shop provides no-charge grooming services to students who lack access to regular hygienic care. A special thank you goes to the school’s social worker Marie Gomba for nominating the RBCF for this noteworthy award!
