Hair Pair Terms, Conditions and Privacy Policy – Agencies and Schools
Welcome to The Hair Pair Project. These Terms and Conditions govern your access and use of our matching platform. By completing a profile, accessing and/or using this service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service. If you are under 18 years of age, please include the contact information of a parent or guardian when introducing yourself to a barber or hairstylist.
Description of the Service
The Hair Pair Project only assures the delivery of a platform that connects grooming professionals with agencies in need of grooming services for their target populations.
User Accounts
*Your agency is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
*Your agency agrees to provide accurate, complete, and updated information on your profile
*Your agency is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information
*Your agency is responsible for all activities that occur under your site
Code of Conduct
All users agree to:
*use this service for lawful purposes only
*not misrepresent themselves or their affiliations
*treat other users with respect and professionalism
*not post or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, solicits personal information, or violates rights
*you agree to provide accurate and current information about your agency’s credentials
*you agree not to impersonate another agency or provide misleading information
Role of Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation, Inc.
You agree that we are acting only as an intermediary between agencies and professional groomers
*We do not verify the identity, background, or credentials of any user
*We are not liable for the actions, conduct, or mission of any platform user or third-party entity
*We do not guarantee that any user opportunity is appropriate, safe, or will meet your [exact] expectations
*We do not guarantee a match with an agency or gainful employment for any user
*We do not participate in interviews, hiring decisions, volunteer selections, employment contracts, background checks, or due diligence
Content Ownership
You retain the ownership of any content you post on the platform, and gain use of NON exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content only in connection with The Hair Pair Project.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Representations
This service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties or representations regarding the reliability, availability, or suitability of the platform or any content provided. We do not control, manage, employ, or guarantee the participation of any professional from the matching platform
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your agency’s use of this platform, including but not limited to interaction with other users.
Indemnity
Your agency agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation, its affiliates, officers, contractors, representatives, and employees for any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of this platform.
Modifications
We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Continued use of the services after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States/Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
HAIR PAIR AGENCY PROFILE PRIVACY POLICY

- Introduction
Hair Pair is a project of Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation (“Foundation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Hair Pair is an information and referral platform that helps schools, shelters, foster care organizations, nonprofits, and other community agencies connect with barbers, hairstylists, cosmetologists, and other grooming professionals interested in providing services, education, mentorship, or volunteer support.
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to organizations creating and maintaining Agency Profiles within Hair Pair.
By submitting an Agency Profile, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this policy.
- Information Collected Through Agency Profiles
Organizations may voluntarily provide information including:

- Organization name
- Type of organization
- Mailing address
- City, county, state, and ZIP code
- Website address
- Social media pages
Contact Information
- Contact person’s name
- Position or title
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Preferred communication methods
Program Information
- Description of the organization
- Population served
- Age groups served
- Number of individuals served
- Types of grooming services requested
- Frequency of requested services
- Location where services may occur
- Preferred days and times
- Volunteer opportunities
- Mentorship opportunities
- Transportation or accessibility information
- Additional comments or notes voluntarily provided
Technical Information
When users access the Hair Pair website, NO information will be collected automatically, such as:
- IP addresses
- Browser type
- Device information
- Website activity
- Cookies and analytics data
- Purpose of Information Collection
Information collected through Agency Profiles is used to:
- Create and maintain Agency Profiles.
- Facilitate introductions between agencies and grooming professionals.
- Match agencies with professionals based on location, availability, and service interests.
- Respond to inquiries.
- Improve Hair Pair services.
- Produce aggregate reports and program evaluations.
- Support grant applications and funding opportunities.
- Conduct community, educational, and public health research using de-identified information.
Hair Pair functions solely as a referral and matching platform and does not directly provide barbering, cosmetology, or beauty services.

Hair Pair will share Agency Profile information only with registered grooming professionals to facilitate connections and communication.
Information that may be shared includes:
- Organization name
- City and state
- Description of the organization
- Population served
- Requested services
- Contact person’s name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Website information
Hair Pair does not sell or rent Agency information to third parties.
- Public and Private Information
No information submitted through Agency Profiles is publicly visible.
Information may be made available only to:
- Hair Pair administrators;
- Registered grooming professionals;
- Authorized volunteers;
- Individuals participating in the matching process.
Sensitive administrative information is not intentionally made public.
- Communications
By creating an Agency Profile, organizations consent to receiving communications related to:
- Potential matches;
- Volunteer opportunities;
- Profile updates;
- Surveys and feedback requests;
- Program announcements;
- Community partnership opportunities.
Organizations may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
- Aggregate and Anonymous Information
Hair Pair may use aggregate or anonymous information to:
- Measure program impact;
- Evaluate service utilization;
- Prepare presentations and reports;
- Support grant applications;
- Conduct academic and public health research;
- Publish statistics concerning community engagement.
No personally identifiable information will be disclosed without consent unless required by law.
- Data Security
Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
However, no electronic storage or transmission system can guarantee complete security.
- Third-Party Websites
Hair Pair may contain links to third-party websites or social media platforms. The Foundation is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites.
- Children’s Information
Hair Pair Agency Profiles are intended for use by organizations and adult representatives.
Organizations remain responsible for obtaining all necessary parental or guardian permissions and complying with applicable laws regarding minors receiving services.
Hair Pair does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 years of age through Agency Profiles.
- Profile Changes and Removal
Organizations may request to:
- Review profile information;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Update information;
- Suspend their profiles;
- Permanently remove their profiles.
