Welcome to The Hair Pair Project. These Terms and Conditions govern your access and use of our matching platform. By completing a profile, accessing and/or using this service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service. If you are under 18 years of age, please include the contact information of a parent or guardian when introducing yourself to an agency.
Description of the Service
The Hair Pair Project only assures the delivery of a platform that connects grooming professionals with agencies in need of grooming services for their target populations.
User Accounts
*You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
*You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information on your profile
*You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information
*You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
Code of Conduct
All users agree to:
*use this service for lawful purposes only
*not misrepresent themselves or their affiliations
*treat other users with respect and professionalism
*not post or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, solicits personal information, or violates rights
*You agree to provide accurate and current information about your experience, education, and qualifications
*You agree not to impersonate another person or provide misleading information
Role of Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation, Inc.
You agree that we are only acting as an intermediary between professional groomers and organizations
*We do not verify the identity, background, or credentials of any user
*We are not liable for the actions, conduct, or omission of any platform user or third-party entity
*We do not guarantee that any user opportunity is appropriate, safe, or will meet your [exact] expectations
*We do not guarantee a match with an agency or gainful employment for any user
*We do not participate in interviews, hiring decisions, volunteer selections, employment contracts, background checks, or due diligence
Content Ownership
You retain the ownership of any content you post on the platform, and grant use NON-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content only in connection with The Hair Pair Project.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Representations
This service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties or representations regarding the reliability, availability, or suitability of the platform or any content provided.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this platform, included but not limited to interactions with other users.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation, its affiliates, officers, contractors, representatives, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of this platform.
Modifications
We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States/Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

HAIR PAIR GROOMING PROFESSIONAL PROFILE PRIVACY POLICY

Hair Pair is a project of Rob’s Barbershop Community Foundation (“Foundation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Hair Pair is an information and referral platform designed to connect licensed barbers, hairstylists, cosmetologists, braiders, and other grooming professionals with schools, shelters, foster care organizations, nonprofits, and other agencies seeking grooming services, mentorship, and educational support.
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to individuals creating Grooming Professional Profiles.
By submitting a Grooming Professional Profile, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this policy.

Users may voluntarily provide:

- Mailing address
- City, county, state, and ZIP code
- Preferred methods of communication
Professional Information
Users may voluntarily provide:

Hair Pair functions solely as an information and referral platform.
Hair Pair does not directly provide barbering, cosmetology, or beauty services.

Hair Pair will ONLY share profile information with schools, shelters, nonprofits, foster care organizations, and other agencies seeking grooming services when you have approved the connection request.

- Contact information necessary to facilitate communication
Hair Pair does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
- Public and Limited Visibility
Certain profile information may be visible to agencies participating in Hair Pair.
Information visible to potential matches may include:
- Name
- Profession
- Communications
By creating a profile, users consent to receiving communications regarding:
- Match opportunities
- Volunteer opportunities
- Program announcements
- Surveys
- Profile updates
- Community events
- Newsletters
Users may opt out of non-essential communications.
- Aggregate and Anonymous Information
Hair Pair may use anonymous or aggregated information to:

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee complete security.
