[2015 Outputs & Outcomes]

RBCF YEAR-END OUTPUTS AND OUTCOMES 2015

In 2015 the RBCF acted as operator and/or intermediary for six grooming projects located in agencies in Baltimore, Anne Arundel and Washington D.C. The six grooming projects provided a combined total 390 haircuts, 21 hairstyles and 87 other hygienic services to a total of 321 unduplicated individuals (475 duplicated). All target populations served were identified as lacking access to regular grooming and hygienic care.

As a result…

On 308 occasions the clients served indicated that they now have an improved self-image

On 160 occasions the clients served indicated that they will now be able to attend school with a neat and clean appearance

On 131 occasions the clients served indicated that they will now be able to attend their job interview(s) with a neat and clean appearance

On 42 occasions the clients served indicated that they will now be able to attend their [new] place of employment with a neat and clean appearance

These outputs and outcomes effectively reduced the problem of lack of access to grooming for clients of the following agencies by…

*126% at Light House, Annapolis, Maryland

*101% at Access Housing, Washington, D.C

*86% at Phoenix Academy, Annapolis, Maryland

*41% North County High School, Glen Burnie, Maryland

*21% at Homeless Resource Day, Anne Arundel County, Maryland

*80% at Independence High School, Baltimore, Maryland
